To be honest, the health environment at Williams Middle is pretty stressing. The school overall is struggling with chronic absenteeism (it's way over 25% lately), and you can really feel it in the hallways. When so many kids are out, it makes you wonder about the actual wellness culture and if the building is being kept up. Communication about illness outbreaks is hit or miss, and it feels like the staff is too stretched thin to really manage individual health needs or follow up when kids are sick. I know they have a medical focus for the high school side, but for the middle schoolers, it feels like they’re just getting by with the basics. I'm definitely worried about the lack of consistency.
