  • Honestly, I've been pretty happy with how Bridgeport Child Development Center handles things. My little one is in the program on Normal Ave and the teachers really seem to stay on top of the 'healthy lifestyle' stuff they preach. They sent home a whole calendar of wellness activities recently which was a nice touch for a daycare. It feels way cleaner than some other places I’ve toured in the neighborhood, and I don't feel like my kid is coming home with a new bug every single week. They are part of the One Hope United network, so the staff seems better trained on health protocols than your average home daycare. Communication regarding sick kids is usually pretty prompt too, which I appreciate as a working parent.

  • My little one has been at Bridgeport Child Development Center for about a year now. Honestly, the staff there is so on top of it when it comes to keeping the classrooms clean. My son usually catches everything under the sun, but he's actually stayed pretty healthy this season. They're great about texting or calling right away if anyone in his room gets sick, which I really appreciate so I can keep him home as a precaution if needed. My only gripe is the sick policy is super strict—if they have a tiny runny nose they’re calling you to pick them up—but I guess that’s why the kids aren't constantly swapping germs!
