A Childs Place Academy 2

To be honest, A Child's Place Academy 2 is just okay when it comes to the health environment. I’ve noticed the communication about colds or stomach bugs going around is a bit hit-or-miss—sometimes I get a heads-up, and other times I feel like I'm walking into a germ factory without warning. The facility looks decent, but in an older building like this on Prairie Ave, I always worry a little about the ventilation and how well things are truly being disinfected at the end of the day. It’s not terrible, but I definitely find myself sanitizing everything the second my kid gets home just in case.

I've had my little one at A Child’s Place Academy 2 for a few months now and honestly, I'm pretty relieved with how they handle the usual daycare germs. The facility on Prairie Ave always smells clean when I drop off, and they are super strict about their sick policy—if a kid has a runny nose or a fever, they're going home. It can be a bit of a pain for working parents, but it keeps the 'crud' from spreading to everyone else. The teachers are also really good about reminding the kids to wash their hands, especially before snack time. Communication is usually just a quick chat at pickup, but they let us know right away if something like HFM or a stomach bug is going around the classroom.
