Honestly, I have some mixed feelings about A-Karrasel. While the staff is mostly nice, the cleanliness of the facility feels pretty hit or miss. It’s a busy daycare environment, but I’ve noticed the ventilation isn’t the best, and when one kid gets a sniffle, the whole class seems to go down with it within two days. The communication regarding illnesses circulating in the building is pretty inconsistent—sometimes we get a heads-up, but usually, we just find out when my kid wakes up with a fever. It feels like they are understaffed for the number of kids they have, so things like wiping down toys and deep cleaning definitely seem to fall by the wayside. I’m looking into other options for next season.

Honestly, A-Karrasel Galewood has been pretty solid since we started. The place looks clean whenever I'm there for drop-off, and you can tell they actually scrub the toys down. My daughter’s teacher is great about reminding parents to keep kids home if they have a sniffle, which I appreciate because it keeps the usual daycare bugs from spreading like wildfire. They're quick to call if she's feeling off, though sometimes the communication about a cold going around the classroom could be a little faster. Overall, I feel good leaving her there and she doesn't seem to get sick nearly as much as she did at her last spot.
