  • Honestly, Aqua is just okay when it comes to the health stuff. It’s your typical city daycare where it feels like a revolving door of colds and sniffles. They say they have a strict sick policy, but I’ve definitely seen kids being dropped off with pretty bad coughs while the staff just looks the other way. Communication about when a bug is going around the classroom is pretty hit or miss, too. It doesn't feel dirty exactly, but it isn't sparkling either. It’s convenient for the neighborhood, but I wish they were more proactive about sanitizing the toys and being firmer with parents who bring sick kids in.

  • Honestly, I’ve been really happy with how Aqua Child Care handles things. The place always smells clean when I drop off my son, not like a bleach factory, but just fresh. They are super strict about their fever policy, which can be a pain when you have to leave work, but it definitely keeps the 'daycare plague' from spreading to everyone else. The teachers are great about reminding the kids to wash their hands, and they actually call you right away if something seems off. It feels like a safe, healthy spot for him in Hermosa.
