ABC Academy on Pratt is okay, but I've definitely had some mixed feelings lately. On the plus side, the staff is really friendly and they seem to stay on top of the basics like hand washing, but the communication when there’s a bug going around the classroom can be pretty hit or miss. I’ve definitely brought my kid home only to find out later that half the class was out with the same stomach virus. The facility itself is a bit older, which makes me worry sometimes about the ventilation and general deep-cleaning, especially during flu season. It’s an alright spot if you need local care in West Ridge, but I really wish they were more proactive about keeping parents in the loop on health stuff before it spreads to everyone.

Honestly, A B C Academy has been pretty solid since we started our daughter there last year. The West Ridge location is convenient for us, and the facility always looks and smells really clean when I'm dropping her off. They are super strict about the '24-hour fever-free' rule, which can be a total pain when you're a working parent, but it definitely keeps the classroom bugs from spreading too fast. Communicating about colds or the occasional stomach's bug going around is usually pretty quick through their updates, so I at least know when to expect a runny nose! It’s a nice local spot and I feel like they genuinely care about keeping the kids healthy.
