Canaan Land Learning Center

To be honest, I’m really concerned about the health standards at Canaan Land. My child has been out sick way more since starting here, and when I walk into the daycare area, it just doesn’t feel like things are being deep-cleaned or sanitized properly. The communication when there’s a bug going around the classroom is basically nonexistent, so you’re always flying blind. I saw some pretty bad feedback online about the facility quality and unfortunately, I have to agree. It feels like they are short-staffed, and with that many kids, things like handwashing and wiping down toys are clearly falling through the cracks. Definitely looking for a cleaner, safer spot for my little one.

My little one has been at Canaan Land for a bit now and honestly, I'm pretty happy with how they handle the germs. It’s a daycare, so you know kids are going to get the sniffles, but the teachers are really on top of wiping down the toys and making sure everyone washes their hands constantly. They’re super strict about the 'no fever for 24 hours' rule which can be a headache when I have to miss work, but I appreciate that it keeps the whole class from getting taken out at once. Communicating about whatever is going around the West Ridge area is usually pretty fast too, so I'm not caught totally off guard.
