Busy Bees Child Development Center II

To be honest, I'm pretty torn about Busy Bees II. The location in Chinatown is super convenient, but the classroom cleanliness is hit or miss since they are always so packed. My biggest issue is that it feels like there's a constant bug going around and the communication from the staff about 'what' is circulating is basically non-existent. The student-to-teacher ratio feels way too high sometimes, especially during pick-up and drop-off, so I'm not sure if the teachers are able to really stay on top of handwashing and sanitizing toys like they should. It's a convenient spot, but I'm constantly worried about the next cold my kid is going to bring home because the sick policy feels pretty lax.

My little one has been at Busy Bees for about six months now and honestly, I'm pretty happy with how they handle the germ situation. Being in Chinatown on the second floor, they really make sure the common areas and tiny chairs are wiped down constantly. They're super strict about their sick policy—if your kid even looks like they're starting a fever, you're getting a phone call to pick them up ASAP. It's an inconvenience sometimes when you're at work, but it keeps the 'daycare plague' from spreading to everyone else. The teachers are great about reminding the toddlers to wash their hands before snacks too, which I appreciate!
