  • The center is honestly just okay. On the plus side, I appreciate that it's a smaller environment and the staff really seem to care about the kids' general development. However, I've had a few issues with their communication regarding illnesses going around the classroom. It feels like I only find out about a stomach bug or hand, foot, and mouth after half the kids are already out sick. The cleanliness is hit-or-miss; sometimes the cubby area looks great, and other times it feels like the cleaning crew skipped a few days. It's a convenient spot in Bridgeport and better than some other local options, but they definitely need to tighten up their sanitization routines and be more proactive with parents when sickness starts spreading.

  • My kid has been at Bridgeport CDC 2 for a few months now and it’s been a decent experience. The classrooms look pretty clean when I drop off, but honestly, it feels like there’s always a cold or something going around—though I guess that’s just life with a toddler in daycare. They’re pretty strict about the fever-free for 24 hours rule, which is a bit of a headache for work but I appreciate that they actually enforce it to keep the germs down. Communication is okay, usually just a quick note or a printout on the door if a lot of kids are out sick. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done and my little one seems happy there.
