  • Honestly, I've had some mixed feelings about Busy Bees II lately. While the location is convenient, the cleanliness feels like a hit-or-miss depending on the day. Since it’s a smaller daycare setting, when one kid gets a sniffle, the whole class catches it within 48 hours. I feel like their sick policy is a bit too loose—I've definitely seen kids dropped off who clearly should’ve been kept home, and the staff doesn't always push back on it. Also, with the higher student-to-teacher ratios typical for these local centers, I worry the teachers are too stretched thin to really stay on top of handwashing and sanitizing toys as often as they should. It’s okay for a backup, but if your kid has a sensitive immune system, you might want to look elsewhere.

  • Sending my little one to Busy Bees in Armour Square has been a pretty good experience so far. The place always looks really clean when I drop him off, and you can tell the staff is on top of wiping down the toys and common areas. They’re super strict about their sick policy—if a kid has a fever, they’re going home right away—which can be a hassle if it's your kid, but honestly, it keeps the bugs from spreading to the whole class, so I appreciate it. My only small gripe is that their communication about 'what's going around' could be a bit faster, but overall, it's a solid, healthy spot for daycare.
