Honestly, keeping my kid at Ryder is a constant stressor when it comes to their health. The chronic absenteeism is over 40% which is wild—it feels like half the class is always out sick or just gone, and the school doesn't seem to have a handle on it at all. With the student-teacher ratios being what they are, the staff is totally stretched thin, so don't expect a call if a bug is going around the classroom. The building itself is older and definitely feels it; ventilation is questionable and it never really feels 'clean-clean' when I walk in. It’s hard for a kid to focus on math and science when the basic wellness environment feels so neglected.
