Denieke Howard

Honestly, Denieke Howard is okay for basic care, but I feel like I'm constantly guessing about their health protocols. It’s a smaller local spot in Auburn Gresham, and while the staff is friendly enough, communication about when a bug is going around the classroom is pretty hit or miss. I’ve had to pick my little one up a couple of times because of a 'cold' that seemed to be traveling through the whole group without much warning from the center. It doesn't seem like they have a super strict wellness policy or a dedicated nurse on site, so you just kind of have to hope for the best with the hand sanitizer. It’s convenient if you live right there, but don't expect a high-end wellness program or super detailed updates on cleanliness.

I honestly can't recommend this place if you care about your child's health. I was looking into their inspection records because my kid kept coming home with weird rashes and stomach bugs, and I was horrified to find out they have had dozens of violations including issues with mice and rats. It’s hard to focus on 'wellness' when basic sanitation isn't being met. The building feels old and honestly pretty grubby. We pulled our daughter out after a few months because the communication about illness in the classroom was non-existent. There are better, cleaner options in Auburn Gresham than this.
