Honestly, keeping it real for the other moms in the neighborhood—Gresham has been a struggle lately. The chronic absenteeism is a major red flag, and you can really feel it in the building. It seems like half the time the kids aren't there, and it makes the whole 'wellness culture' feel nonexistent. I've also noticed a lot of recent board filings for repairs and unidentified system issues, which makes me worry about the actual state of the building and the ventilation. It feels like they are constantly playing catch-up with the budget and maintenance rather than focusing on the kids' health. The communication about when bugs or illnesses are going around is pretty spotty, and I don't feel like the cleanliness is where it needs to be for an elementary school. I want to love it because it's local, but right now the environment just feels neglected.
