I've been sending my little one to Smart From The Start for a while now and honestly, I'm pretty relieved with how they handle things. The facility on 79th is kept really clean, and you can tell they actually care about safety—it’s not just talk. I noticed they even host CPR and first aid training there, which makes me feel a lot better knowing the staff is actually prepared if something happens. It doesn't have that 'stale' daycare smell you find in some older buildings in Auburn Gresham, and they seem pretty on top of keeping sick kids home so germs don't spread like wildfire through the whole class. Definitely one of the better spots in the neighborhood for keeping the kids healthy and engaged.
