  • I really wanted to love this place because the staff is nice, but I’ve been pretty frustrated with the health situation lately. It feels like every other week there's a new bug going around the classroom and the communication from the center is just okay—we usually don't find out about an illness until several kids are already out. The space on 28th Street gets a little cramped when all the kids are there, and I’m not sure the ventilation is the best because those seasonal colds just linger forever. Also, the sick-child policy feels a bit lax in practice; I've definitely seen kids being dropped off with pretty obvious runny noses and coughs, which makes it impossible to keep the rest of the group healthy. For the price, I was expecting a much cleaner environment and stricter wellness protocols.

  • I honestly have mixed feelings about Reach Higher. While the staff is mostly nice, the cleanliness of the space is just not where it needs to be for a daycare. It feels like every time I turn around, my little one is coming home with some new bug, and the communication about what's going around the classroom is basically nonexistent. They say they have wellness policies, but I’ve seen kids dropped off with clear fevers and nobody says a word. Plus, the building itself on 28th St feels a bit cramped and stuffy—could definitely use better ventilation. Just feels like they're a bit overwhelmed with the number of kids per teacher, and the hygiene standards are slipping because of it.
