Peter a Reinberg Elementary School

Honestly, I’m pretty concerned about the health environment at Reinberg lately. I saw in the district reports that they had to get a heavy-duty combination truck in just to clean out the catch basins and jet rod the main sanitary lines. That kind of plumbing and sewage issue in an elementary school is a huge red flag for me regarding basic hygiene and sanitation. It makes you wonder what else is going on with the pipes and the smell in the hallways. On top of the plumbing grossness, the school feels really crowded and the communication about when bugs or viruses are going around is basically nonexistent. It feels like they are constantly shuffling money around in the budget just to keep the building from falling apart rather than actually focusing on student wellness or a clean play area. I’m definitely not comfortable with the current state of things.
