To be honest, I’ve been pretty let down with how things are handled at Beyond Daycare. It feels like every other week my little one is coming home with a new bug, and I rarely get a heads-up from the staff that something is going around the classroom until it's too late. The facility on Montrose looks okay on the surface, but it gets really crowded and the air feels stuffy, which probably doesn't help with all the germs. Communication about sick policies is super inconsistent—I've seen kids dropped off with clear symptoms while I’m told to keep mine home for a minor sniffle. For what we pay, I expected a much more proactive approach to wellness and a cleaner environment.

Honestly, I've been really happy with Beyond Daycare since we started. The place on Montrose is always super clean when I drop off my son, and you can tell they actually scrub the toys down. They’re pretty strict about the '24-hour fever-free' rule which can be a pain when you're trying to get to work, but it definitely keeps the nasty bugs from spreading through the whole class every week. The teachers are great about texting updates if he's looking a little sluggish or under the weather, so I'm never caught off guard at pickup. Only wish they had a bit more outdoor space for them to run around when the weather is nice, but overall the wellness side of things is solid.
