ABC Preschool is okay, but honestly, it feels a bit like a mixed bag when it comes to health. The wellness score online is decent, and they do follow the 'Preschool for All' guidelines which is reassuring, but the actual day-to-day cleanliness of the play areas can be hit or miss. My kid seems to come home with a new sniffle every other week, and the communication about what's going around the classroom isn't siempre clear. It’s an older building on Austin Ave, so it doesn't have that super-sanitized, modern feel you see at the pricey boutique spots. It’s a standard neighborhood preschool—it gets the job done, but I wish they were a bit more proactive with sanitizing the shared toys and keeping us in the loop about illness outbreaks.

My little one has been at ABC Preschool for about a year now and honestly, they do a solid job keeping the germs at bay. The place always smells like they just finished cleaning when I drop him off in the morning, which is a relief since we all know how gross preschools can get! They're pretty strict about the 24-hour fever-free rule, which can be a bit of a headache as a working parent, but I appreciate that it actually keeps the classroom from becoming a total petri dish. My only minor gripe is that sometimes the communication about a kid having something like hand-foot-and-mouth is a little delayed, but overall, it's a healthy and safe environment.
