  • I really wanted to love this place because of the cultural aspect and the small class sizes, but the health inspection history is seriously stressing me out. I found out they actually failed a health inspection recently with a score of 69, which is way too low for a place where toddlers are eating and playing all day. It makes me wonder about their basic cleaning routines and how they're handling food safety behind the scenes. Community-wise it's nice, but when you're talking about a preschool environment, cleanliness shouldn't be a gamble. Honestly, between the low safety score and the lack of transparency about physical upkeep, I'm feeling pretty uneasy about the wellness side of things here.

  • My kid has been at the Latvian Preschool for a bit now and honestly, the health side of things is pretty solid. The school is on the smaller side, which I think helps keep the crazy germs down compared to those massive daycare centers. They’re super strict about the 24-hour fever-free rule, which can be a pain when you have to work, but it definitely keeps the whole class from getting taken out by every stomach bug. The classrooms always look tidy and smell clean, not like old juice boxes. My only tiny gripe is that communication about local RSV or flu spikes could be a little faster, but the teachers are so caring and always notice right away if my little one is acting a bit off or sluggish.
