  • Honestly, I have some major concerns about the health environment at NTA right now. Seeing the recent school board notes about needing to update the boilers for IDPH compliance makes me wonder how long things have been subpar with the air and heating. It's also super stressful with all the talk about phasing the school out—it feels like the district has stopped investing in the building's upkeep because they want to flip it to another community. When the infrastructure is in limbo, you really start to notice things like poor ventilation and slow responses to maintenance issues. It doesn't feel like the healthiest spot for my kid to be spending 7 hours a day right now.
