  • Honestly, I was pretty nervous about starting daycare given how much stuff is going around the city lately, but Busy Bees has been a pleasant surprise. Since they're partnered with Easterseals, they seem a lot more organized about health stuff than the last place we tried. The facility is spread over two floors and actually feels clean; they just passed their city health inspection again without issues, which gives me some peace of mind. Every time I drop off my little one, I see them following the hygiene protocols pretty strictly, and they've been great about keeping us in the loop whenever a kid in the classroom gets a sniffle. It's a solid spot in Bridgeport if you're looking for a place that actually takes the health and wellness side of early childhood seriously.

  • My toddler has been at Busy Bees for about six months now and honestly, the health stuff is handled way better than our last place. Since they partner with Easterseals, they seem a lot more on top of the developmental wellness side of things, not just checking for fevers. The facility in Bridgeport is pretty clean for a daycare—you can tell they actually scrub the toys down at the end of the day. They’re super strict about the 24-hour fever-free rule which is a pain when you have to call out of work, but it definitely keeps the cyclic stomach bugs to a minimum. Communication is usually through the app or a quick chat at the door; they're good about letting us know if hand, foot, and mouth is going around the classroom so we can keep an eye out.
