Honestly, I was pretty nervous about starting daycare given how much stuff is going around the city lately, but Busy Bees has been a pleasant surprise. Since they're partnered with Easterseals, they seem a lot more organized about health stuff than the last place we tried. The facility is spread over two floors and actually feels clean; they just passed their city health inspection again without issues, which gives me some peace of mind. Every time I drop off my little one, I see them following the hygiene protocols pretty strictly, and they've been great about keeping us in the loop whenever a kid in the classroom gets a sniffle. It's a solid spot in Bridgeport if you're looking for a place that actually takes the health and wellness side of early childhood seriously.

The facility in Bridgeport is pretty clean for a daycare—you can tell they actually scrub the toys down at the end of the day. They’re super strict about the 24-hour fever-free rule which is a pain when you have to call out of work, but it definitely keeps the cyclic stomach bugs to a minimum. Communication is usually through the app or a quick chat at the door; they're good about letting us know if hand, foot, and mouth is going around the classroom so we can keep an eye out.
