I really wanted to love this place for my toddler, but the health standards at Woodson Whizkids have been stressing me out lately. It feels like every other week there's a new bug going around the classroom, and I’m not sure the 'sick child' policy is actually being enforced because I see kids dropped off with clear symptoms all the time. The space itself at the Kedzie Ave location feels pretty cramped for the number of kids they have, which just makes the germs spread that much faster. Communication from the staff about outbreaks is also super hit or miss; sometimes we get a heads-up, but usually, I find out from other parents in the parking lot. For what we're paying, I expected a much cleaner environment and better attention to hygiene routines.
