Honestly, I’m pretty concerned about the state of Finkl right now. I was looking through some of the recent facility reports and they’re having to put in urgent requests to rod out the kitchen and bathrooms—that's a major red flag for sanitation in a place where my kid eats. It feels like we’re always dealing with plumbing issues or broken AC units, and the maintenance just can't keep up. With the chronic absenteeism being a known issue across CPS and the school feeling a bit neglected physically, I really worry about the overall health environment. The staff tries their best, but it's hard to feel good about the wellness culture when the building itself seems like it’s struggling to stay hygenic and functional.
