Awesome Mindsets

I really wanted to love this place since it’s right here in Bridgeport, but I have some major concerns about how things are run. For a daycare, the communication regarding illness is super spotty—I feel like I only hear about a bug going around after my kid has already caught it. It doesn’t help that they aren’t BBB accredited, which makes me wonder about their overall accountability and professional standards. The facility itself could definitely be cleaner; the common areas often look lived-in in a way that feels more like 'germ factory' than 'cozy.' Also, the staff-to-child ratio feels off some days, especially during drop-off, which makes me worried about how much individual attention and hygiene supervision the kids are actually getting. I'm honestly looking into other options for next season.

My little one has been at Awesome Mindsets for a few months now and I’m pretty happy with how they handle germs. The Bridgeport location is always super tidy when I drop off, and you can tell they're actually scrubbing the toys. They are pretty strict about the fever-free rule, which can be a pain when you have to call out of work, but it definitely keeps the 'daycare plague' from spreading to everyone at once. Communication is good too—they usually send a quick message if hand-foot-and-mouth or something is going around the room. It’s a solid, clean spot for the neighborhood.
