William B Ogden Elementary School

Being part of the Ogden International system sounds fancy, but the reality at the East campus is pretty frustrating. Honestly, the building maintenance is a mess and it definitely affects the kids' health. Last year we had issues with the chiller system being down, and trying to keep a classroom of kids focused when it's sweltering and the air isn't circulating is impossible. I've also noticed a lot of budget reshuffling just to cover basic repairs like fire alarms and sub coverage, which tells me the wellness and support staff are stretched way too thin. Communication about illness in the classrooms is spotty at best—usually, I find out a bug is going around from the parent group chat before I ever hear a word from the administration. For a school in such a 'prestigious' area, you'd expect a much cleaner, more organized environment than what we're actually getting.
