  • My kid is in the toddler program at Guidepost Old Town and honestly, the cleanliness is what sold me. It’s a newer facility so everything feels very fresh and organized—lots of natural wood and plants, not that cluttered plastic vibe you see elsewhere. They are pretty strict about their sick policy which can be a giant pain when you have to work, but it keeps those seasonal bugs from wiping out the whole class. Communication about when kids are sent home is usually pretty fast via their app. My only slight gripe is that because it's a smaller center, they don't have a dedicated nurse on-site, but the lead guides seem really on top of the hygiene standards and handwashing routines. Overall, it feels like a really calm, healthy environment for the little ones.

  • I've been really impressed with how Guidepost keeps things running smoothly in Old Town. The classrooms always look super clean and organized when I drop off my daughter, which is a relief during cold and flu season. They’re pretty strict about the 24-hour fever-free rule, which can be a pain if you're a working parent, but Honestly, it keeps the bugs from spreading through the whole class like wildfire. My only minor gripe is that communication about local outbreaks can be a little slow sometimes, but the teachers are so hands-on and notice right away if a kid is acting off or feeling warm.
