  • Honestly, I’m pretty frustrated with the health situation at Green Elementary. The chronic absenteeism rate is super high—it feels like half the class is out sick or just missing every other week, and I don't feel like the school has a real handle on it. It’s hard for my kid to stay on track when the environment feels so inconsistent. Plus, the building is older and you can really tell. The ventilation isn't great, and with the student-to-teacher ratios being what they are, the staff just seems too stretched thin to keep things as clean as they should be or to check in on kids who aren't feeling well. It’s tough because the teachers try, but the resources just aren't there to make it a top-tier healthy environment.
