All Day Montessori

My little one has been at All Day Montessori for a while now, and honestly, the health environment is one of the things that puts my mind at ease. The classrooms always look so organized and clean when I drop off—none of that 'sticky' feeling you get at some daycare centers. They seem pretty strict about their sick policy too; if a kid has a fever, they actually have to stay home, which usually feels like a hassle until you realize it’s why the whole class isn't constantly passing around the same stomach bug. It's a smaller school so the staff really knows the kids, and I've always felt they communicate well if something is going around. It’s definitely a solid, healthy spot for the PK crowd in Beverly.

My little one has been at ADM for the last two years and honestly, the health vibe is pretty solid for a preschool. Since it's Montessori, they're big on teaching the kids to wash their own hands and keep their 'work' spaces tidy, which I think actually helps keep the germs down a bit! Communication is usually fast when something like hand-foot-and-mouth is going around, so at least we aren't left in the dark. My only gripe is the sick policy can be a bit of a headache for working parents—they are very strict about the 24-hour fever-free rule—but I guess that's why the classrooms don't feel like a total petri dish.
