A place to learn, thrive, and stay well.
Simon Guggenheim Elementary School was a public elementary school located at 7141 S Morgan St in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. As part of the Chicago Public Schools system, it served the local community for several decades. Historical records indicate the school focused on standard elementary education within the urban district. Public records from the Chicago Board of Education show that the school was officially closed in 2012. Following its closure, the attendance areas were adjusted to transition students to neighboring institutions such as Carrie Jacobs Bond Elementary School and Amos Alonzo Stagg Elementary School. During its operation, the school was staffed by members of the Chicago Teachers Union and maintained standard safety protocols common to the district.
