I honestly have mixed feelings about New Beginning on North Ave. While the staff is friendly enough, the communication when kids get sick is pretty lacking. It feels like every other week my little one is coming home with a new bug because the sick-child policy isn't strictly enforced—I've seen kids dropped off with clear symptoms and nobody says anything. The facility also feels a bit cramped and dated, which makes me worry about the ventilation and how well things are actually getting sanitized at the end of the day. It's affordable, but I'm constantly stressed about what illness is going to hit our house next because the wellness culture just isn't there.
