Luther Burbank Elementary School

Honestly, I’m pretty frustrated with how things are going at Burbank lately. The building itself feels like it’s struggling—I heard they’re having to rent equipment because the main systems are constantly waiting on repairs, and you can really feel that in the classrooms. It’s hard for the kids to stay healthy when the ventilation and temp control are hit or miss. Plus, the chronic absenteeism is over 25%, which is a huge red flag. It feels like there's always a bug going around and because so many kids are out, the learning just stalls. The staff tries, but when you're dealing with old facility issues and half the class is sick, it’s not exactly a 'wellness' focused environment. Definitely think twice if your kid has asthma or a sensitive immune system.
