Lately, I've had mixed feelings about Little Genius. On one hand, they did step up their cleaning game recently and you can tell they're trying to keep the rooms on both floors looking decent, which is a relief when flu season hits Chicago. The staff is honestly really sweet with the kids and they seem to follow the basics for health protocols. However, it's still a típica city daycare—germs spread like wildfire and I feel like I'm getting a call about a runny nose or a cough every other week. Communication when a kid in the class gets sick could definitely be faster so we can plan ahead. It’s a solid 3-star spot; it's clean enough and the teachers care, but don't expect a high-end wellness retreat for your toddler.
