Joyful Noise Christian Daycare, INC.

To be honest, I’m pretty uneasy with Joyful Noise right now. While the staff seems nice enough, there’s been some legal or insurance stuff popping up in public records (consolidated cases/arbitration) involving the center that really makes me wonder about their safety protocols and how they handle injuries. On top of that, the communication when kids get sick is basically non-existent; my little one has come home with a runny nose and a cough more times than I can count without a single heads-up from the school. For the price and the location in West Humboldt Park, I expected a much cleaner environment, but it often feels cramped and a bit neglected. I really wanted to love the faith-based aspect, but the lack of transparency regarding health and safety is a huge red flag for me.

Honestly, I have some real concerns about how things are run here. The building itself is pretty old and it definitely shows—everything feels a bit cramped and the cleaning isn't always up to par. I've noticed a lot of the kids seem to have persistent coughs and runny noses that just circle around the rooms forever, and I don't think the sick policy is being enforced strictly enough. It's frustrating when you're trying to keep your own kid healthy and you see others being dropped off clearly unwell. Also, finding out there’s some legal drama or arbitration cases involving the center's management really doesn't help with the peace of mind. Communication about health stuff is pretty hit or miss, and it feels like they’re often understaffed. I really wanted to love the faith-based aspect, but the practical health and safety side of things is lacking.
