  • To be honest, I’ve been pretty frustrated with the health situation here lately. It feels like every other week there is a new bug going around the classroom and the communication from the center is just not there. The space feels really cramped for the 10847 S. Western location, and when it’s that crowded, one sick kid basically means the whole class is going down. I've noticed the cleaning seems a bit hit-or-miss lately, and I really wish they were stricter about their sick-child policy because it feels like kids are being dropped off with visible fevers or bad coughs way too often. For what we’re paying, I expected a much more proactive approach to keeping the environment germ-free.

  • Honestly, so far so good at It Takes a Village. My little one started a few months ago and the place always smells clean when I drop him off, not that heavy bleach smell either. They are super strict about the '24-hour fever free' rule, which can be a pain when you're trying to get to work, but it definitely keeps the classroom germs from spreading to everyone else. The teachers are really proactive and will text me if he’s looking a bit sluggish or off his game before it even turns into a real issue. It’s a solid, safe spot in Beverly for sure.
