GoFun is okay, but it’s definitely a mixed bag. The geothermal heating and cooling system is a huge plus for air quality, which I appreciate since some of these older buildings in Bridgeport can get really stuffy and moldy. However, the space is a bit tight being a storefront location, and I’ve noticed that when one kid gets a sniffle, it spreads through the whole group almost instantly. Communication about illness outbreaks could definitely be more proactive; sometimes I only find out a bug is going around after my kid brings it home. It's a decent spot if you're looking for the Mandarin immersion, but don't expect a high-end wellness retreat—it's just your standard city daycare hustle.

Honestly, I've been pretty impressed with how GoFun handles the 'germ factor' in the Bridgeport area. My little one is at the Archer Ave location and the place always looks and smells clean when I drop him off, which is a huge relief for a daycare. They are super strict about the 24-hour fever rule—which can be a headache when you have to call out of work—but it definitely keeps the revolving door of coughs and colds to a minimum. Communication is mostly via quick chats at pickup, but they're good about letting us know if a stomach bug is going around the classroom so we can be on high alert.
