Gift 4 Kids Daycare Center LLC

I really wanted to like this place because it's convenient in Morgan Park, but I’ve been pretty let down by the health standards lately. My little one seems to bring home a new bug every other week, and I honestly don't think they're doing deep cleans as often as they should for a daycare. It often feels stuffy inside, and the communication when hand-foot-and-mouth or a stomach virus is going around is basically non-existent. You just kind of find out when your kid gets sick. Plus, I noticed they aren't BBB accredited, which makes me feel even more uneasy about how they handle their business and safety protocols. It feels more like a 'survival mode' environment than a place focused on wellness.

My son has been at Gift 4 Kids for a few months now and honestly their health policies are pretty solid. The Morgan Park location is always kept super clean and I notice them wiping down the play areas whenever I'm there for pick-up. They are really on top of calling parents if a kid starts running a fever, which can be a pain if you're at work, but I appreciate that they actually follow the 24-hour fever-free rule to keep the germs from spreading to everyone else. The only thing is I wish they sent out more frequent email updates when a specific bug is going around the classroom, but overall it's a very healthy environment for the little ones.
