  • Honestly, it's a bit of a mixed bag at Garfield YMCA. The staff is really caring and you can tell they love the kids, which is the most important thing, but the building itself feels pretty dated and could definitely use a deep clean more often. My little one seems to catch every single cold that goes around the classroom, and I wish they were a bit stricter with the sick-child policy because I've definitely seen some kiddos dropped off with pretty bad coughs. That said, they are good about communicating if there's a specific outbreak, and I appreciate that they try to keep some physical activity in the routine even when they're stuck inside.
