Sauganash School for the Young Years

Sauganash School for the Young Years is okay, but it’s definitely an 'average' experience for our family. The facility being in a lower level/basement area always makes me a little paranoid about the ventilation and natural light for the kids, though I will say the teachers do a decent job of keeping the actual rooms looking clean. They seem to follow the standard sick-child policies, but communication can be a bit hit or miss when a bug is going around the classroom. It doesn't feel like they go above and beyond with wellness programs or anything fancy, but it's a safe, functional spot if you need local care and aren't looking for a high-end wellness-focused curriculum.

Sauganash School for the Young Years is pretty middle-of-the-road when it comes to the health side of things. They seem to follow the standard daycare protocols for handwashing and disinfecting toys, though things can feel a bit cramped when the classes are full. Communication about when a bug is going around the classroom is okay, but not always the fastest. It’s a decent neighborhood spot, but I haven't seen anything that really goes 'above and beyond' in terms of wellness programs or health initiatives.
