Jeran Day School

Honestly, I’m so picky about where I send my kid, especially with how often bugs and colds go around daycares, but Jeran has been such a relief. One of the biggest things for me is that they actually have an organic food program, which is so rare to find at this price point in the neighborhood. You can tell they really prioritize the kids' health because the place is always spotless when I drop off and pick up. I haven't seen the usual 'daycare crud' lingering around, so they must be on top of their cleaning game. It feels like a safe, clean little bubble and the communication about health stuff is always direct and clear, which I really appreciate as a working parent.

Honestly, I’ve been pretty happy with how Jeran Day School handles the germ situation. It’s a daycare, so you expect some sniffles, but the staff is really on top of wiping down the toys and making sure the kids wash their hands. They’re super strict about the fever-free for 24 hours rule, which can be a pain when you're trying to get to work, but it definitely keeps the major stomach bugs from sweeping through the whole class every week. The facility in Jefferson Park always smells clean when I drop off my daughter, not like stale milk or anything. My only gripe is that communication about local RSV or flu breakouts can be a little slow sometimes, but overall, it’s a solid, healthy spot for the little ones.
