Honestly, the staff here are so sweet and you can tell they love the kids, but since the buy-out things have really gone downhill on the health front. The communication about illnesses is basically nonexistent lately—it feels like there’s always a stomach bug or some kind of cold cycling through the classrooms and we don’t get a heads-up until our own kid is already sick. It's frustrating because the center is in a great spot, but they really need to get their act together with the wellness policies and deep cleaning. It just feels like a numbers game now.

Honestly, Care-A-Lot has been a solid choice for us. The place is always clean when I drop off my son, and you can tell they actually scrub the toys down. My favorite thing is how they handle the 'daycare crud'—they are super proactive about texting us if a bug is going around the classroom so we can keep an eye out. Their sick policy is fair; they're strict enough to keep the germs away but not so intense that you feel like you're being interrogated for a runny nose. It’s a small, cozy spot in Edgebrook that really feels like a neighborhood staple.
