  • My kid has been at Montessori Learning Center of Edison Park for a bit now and it's mostly fine, though I do have some mixed feelings about the health side of things. The school is located in a basement level (LL), so I'm always a little bit worried about the air circulation and that 'basement smell' during the rainy months. It seems clean enough, but when one kid gets a sniffle, it definitely cycles through the whole classroom pretty fast. I wish they were a little more communicative when stuff is going around, sometimes I only find out from other parents in the parking lot. That said, the teachers are really sweet and they do try to keep the kids spaced out during work time, but like any small private center, you just have to hope for the best during flu season.
