  • ABC Learning Tree is decent, but it's pretty much your run-of-the-mill city daycare. The facility is licensed and generally keeps things tidy, but I've definitely noticed that when one kid gets a sniffle, it spreads through the whole classroom like wildfire. Their sick-child policy is okay, but they could definitely be a bit more proactive with communication when something is going around. It’s a smaller spot with about 60 kids, which helps a little with the germ pool, but nothing special that makes it stand out as a 'wellness' hub. It gets the job done for Edison Park families, but keep your hand sanitizer ready.

  • My son has been at ABC Learning Tree for about six months now and honestly, I'm pretty relieved with how they handle the usual daycare germs. The Edison Park location is super clean when I drop him off, and you can tell the staff actually stays on top of sanitizing the toys. They’re pretty strict about the 24-hour fever-free policy, which can be a pain when you have to call out of work, but it definitely keeps the whole class from getting taken out by every little bug. Communication is usually via email or a quick chat at pickup; they’re good about letting us know if hand, foot, and mouth or something similar is going around. It’s not a fancy 'wellness' center or anything, just a solid, clean spot where I feel like my kid is safe.
