To be honest, the sickness cycle at Lily Pad is pretty exhausting. I know it's a city preschool and kids get germy, but the communication about outbreaks is so hit or miss. There have been weeks where it feels like half the class is out with hand-foot-and-mouth or a stomach bug, and we only get a heads-up after our kid is already coming down with it. The space is a bit tight and the ventilation doesn't seem great in the older building, which I'm sure doesn't help with how fast things spread. They're also pretty lax on their sick policy—I've definitely seen kids dropped off with clear fevers and 'all-day' coughs without the staff saying much. It's frustrating when you're trying to keep your own household healthy and the school feels like a bit of a petri dish.
