  • LaSalle is okay, but I’ve got some mixed feelings about the facilities lately. On one hand, the school culture is great, but the actual building maintenance seems to be a struggle. We just saw emergency board reports for broken glass and windows in the classrooms, which isn't exactly what you want to hear when it's freezing in Chicago. I’ve heard other parents mention that some of the older parts of the building feel a bit neglected. On the plus side, the school nurse is pretty responsive when stuff goes around, and the illness communication is decent for a CPS school. It’s definitely not the worst, but they really need to stay on top of the repairs if they want to keep the environment healthy for the kids.
