Bubbles Academy

Honestly, I’ve been really happy with how clean Bubbles Academy stays, especially for a place that sees so many kids for arts and enrichment. Since it’s more of an 'enrichment center' vibe, they seem a lot more on top of the 'germ-fest' than some of the bigger daycares downtown. I like that they partnered with wellness consultants in the past, and it shows in their policies. They’re pretty strict about the sick-child policy—if your kid even looks like they have a runny nose, you’re probably getting a call—which can be a hassle for work, but at least the whole classroom doesn't go down with a stomach bug every month. My daughter’s classroom never smells like old snacks or chemicals, just feels like a solid, healthy spot for her to play and create.

My little one has been at Bubbles for a while now and honestly, it’s one of the cleaner spots we’ve been to in Chicago. They really lean into the whole 'wellness' thing with yoga and mindfulness, which actually helps my kid calm down before nap time. The space feels bright and fresh, not like those stuffy centers where you feel like germs are just hanging in the air. Communication is pretty solid; if a bug is going around the music classes, they usually give us a heads-up so we can keep an eye out. It’s definitely more of an enrichment vibe than a strict daycare, so they seem to take the environment seriously.
