  • I've been taking my toddler to Harmony for their part-time sessions and I've been really impressed with how clean they keep the space, especially since it doubles as a play gym and birthday spot. You know how gross those places can get, but it always smells fresh and the equipment isn't sticky or dusty when we go in. They seem to have a solid handle on the 'germ factory' aspect of daycare—I haven't seen a bunch of kids running around with green noses, so I think they actually stick to their sick policy. It's a huge relief to find a spot in Lincoln Park that actually prioritizes a healthy environment over just packing the rooms to capacity.

  • I've had my son at Harmony for a few months now and honestly the cleanliness is top notch for a daycare. You know how these places can usually smell like old milk and diapers? This one actually smells fresh most of the time. They’re pretty strict about the 24-hour fever-free rule which can be a total pain when you have to work, but it definitely keeps the classroom plagues from spreading too fast. The teachers are great about reminding the kids to wash their hands, though I do wish they’d give us a heads up a little sooner when hand-foot-and-mouth is going around the neighborhood. Overall, it’s a solid, healthy spot in Lincoln Park.
