Growing Seeds Preschool, LLC

Growing Seeds is okay, but I've got some mixed feelings. The facility in Lincoln Park is always kept really clean, which I appreciate, and they are pretty strict about the 24-hour fever-free policy before kids can come back. However, being a smaller urban preschool, the indoor space feels a bit tight when they can't get outside, and I feel like the communication when a bug is going around the classroom could be a lot faster. It’s a standard neighborhood spot—nothing fancy wellness-wise, but they keep the hand sanitizer flowing.

My little one has been at Growing Seeds for about a year now. Honestly, the cleanliness is what stands out most—you can tell they really scrub the place down every night. The teachers are super on top of the 'hand washing' routine, which is a lifesaver during flu season. They have a pretty strict fever policy, which can be a headache when you're trying to get to work, but it definitely keeps the classroom from becoming a total germ fest. They’re also really responsive if there’s a bumped knee or if someone in the class tests positive for something; I usually get an email or a quick update at pickup. It's a solid, safe environment in Lincoln Park, though I do wish they had a bit more indoor space for 'active' play when it's too cold for the park.
