I honestly wanted to like this place because the location was convenient, but I'm pretty concerned about the overall health standards and lack of transparency. Since there isn't much public info on their certifications or accreditation, you kind of have to rely on your gut, and mine is telling me they're understaffed. It feels like every other week my little one is coming home with a new bug, and I don't get much communication from the staff about what's going around the classroom. The facility doesn't always have that deep-clean smell you'd expect in a daycare, and the sick-child policy seems pretty loosely enforced. It's tough because the staff are nice enough, but the wellness culture just isn't where it needs to be for me to feel totally comfortable.

My little one has been at Graham Crackers on Halsted for about six months now and honestly, I’m pretty happy with how they handle the health side of things. The rooms always smell clean when I drop him off, not that heavy bleach smell, but just fresh. They are super strict about their sick policy—if a kid has a runny nose or a fever, they aren’t coming in, which used to annoy me but now I appreciate it because my son isn't catching every little bug that goes around the classroom. The staff is really good about calling you right away if something seems off, and they're always reminding us to keep up with the handwashing at home too. It feels like a safe, healthy spot for the kids in Roseland.
