Abc Learning Center II

So far, our experience at ABC Learning Center II has been pretty average. The facility on Halsted is usually kept decent, and the staff is friendly enough when we drop off my toddler. I haven't seen anything major to worry about regarding cleanliness, but their communication when a bug is going around the classroom could definitely be more proactive. It feels like I usually find out my kid was exposed to a cold only after he's already sneezing. It’s a solid local option, but they aren't exactly going above and beyond onwellness initiatives or anything like that.

My toddler has been at ABC for a few months now and honestly, the place is really well-kept. I was super worried about the 'daycare crud' since it's on Halsted and gets a lot of traffic, but they are actually really on top of sanitizing the toys and keep the classrooms looking fresh. They're pretty strict about the 24-hour fever-free rule, which can be a pain when you have to work, but I appreciate that it keeps the other kids from getting sick. Only downside is the communication on when a specific bug is going around can be a little slow sometimes, but the teachers are so sweet and always let me know if my son seems a little off or lethargic during the day.
