  • I'm really torn about Allison’s. While the staff is sweet, the cleanliness is a major concern for me. My little one seems to come home with a new bug every single week, and I honestly don't think they're doing deep cleans as often as they should for a room full of crawlers. It feels like the sick-child policy is more of a suggestion than a rule because there are always kids there with clear symptoms. Also, finding out they've had some issues with city support services funding recently makes me nervous that they're cutting corners on maintenance or health supplies. It’s tough because infant care is so hard to find in Roseland, but I'm constantly worried about the hygiene levels in the play areas.

  • Allison's Infant & Toddler Center has been a safe bet for my toddler's health in this Chicago home daycare, licensed for infants/tots with flexible hours that work for us. No red flags in DCFS records or parent reviews about illnesses or violations, and they nail the basics: frequent handwashing, clean nap areas, and quick fever checks to keep germs contained. Small group means fewer bugs than big centers; we've seen normal sniffles but nothing major. Staff communicate daily health updates and love outdoor time. Feels cozy and secure.
